About me

I am a PhD in Genetic Resources, Biodiversity, and Bioprospecting. I have nine years of experience in plant sciences research, where I developed projects involving seed physiology and molecular biology of tropical species. I have a diverse and international background, having worked in Brazil and Germany. Currently I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation and I am always looking for new ways to pursue my passion for continuous learning.

Our projects explore the biotechnological potential of native plants for several industries, as well as their adaptation to stressful environments caused by climate change. Our work is in aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, including Zero Hunger and Climate Action, for innovative approaches in plant productivity, and is motivated by Environmental, Social, and Governance practices.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography, traveling, and visiting Botanical Gardens.
